Mount Lushan: Located in the north of Jiangxi Province, bordering the Yangtze River to the north and the Poyang Lake to the east,  with countless towering peaks and extraordinary natural scenery, Mount Lushan is a famous summer resort since ancient times. It does not only present magnificent scenery, but also enjoys convenient transportation. Driving along the winding mountain roads, it takes less than two hours to get to the central area—Guling in the mountain from Jiujiang City. The foothills are surrounded by highways extending in all directions. The main scenic spots of the mountain are accessible for tourist car, bringing great convenience for tourists. On the southern part of the mountain, there lies the hometown of the well-known poet Tao Yuanming of the Jin Dynasty and a fairy wonderland of peach blossoms, and the Xiufeng Peak, where the great poet Li Bai once wrote "In sunshine Censer Peak breathes purple vapor, seeing in the distance. The fall looks like a satin drape hung on the mountains." On the northern part of the mountain, there are the Donglin Temple and the Xilin Temple as Buddhist shrines from the Jin Dynasty. As a key national scenic spot and one of "the top 40 best tourist destinations of China ", Mount Lushan contains over 80 scenic spots and 1500-plus villas in various styles of different countries .

Urban scenic spots: In Jiujiang City, the main scenic spots are the Jiujiang Yangtze River Bridge, the outer square of the Yangtze River levee, the Yanshui Pavilion (or the Mist and Water Pavilion)— where General Zhouyu once drilled his army, the Pipa Pavilion, named after Bai Juyi’s Poet Pipa Player and Xunyang Pavilion—where Song Jiang wrote a rebel poet on the wall of the building. The Gantang Lake and the Nanmen Lake in downtown Jiujiang cover an area of 1.2 million square meters, and between the two lakes lies the Ligong Dam, built by the Jiangzhou prefectural governor Li Bo in the Tang Dynasty.

The Lushan Xihai Lake: formerly called the Zhelin Lake Reservoir, is located between Mount Lushan and Nanchang City, a world famous mountain and a city of heroes respectively. This scenic area enjoys an easy access with water, land and air transportation networks. The tourist resources of the Lushan Xihai Lake are unique, excellent and colorful. The Bali Lake Scenic Spot: Located in the west of the central Jiujiang, the Bali Lake Scenic Spot has a total area of about 60 square kilometers. The new Bali Lake Bridge serve as a west extension of West Changhong Road, connecting to the Yangtze River Bridge, which is not only a convenient and smooth expressway from the old city of Jiujiang to Bali Lake new district and Jiujiang County, but also a landscape avenue linking the new and old districts of Jiujiang. Bali Lake bathing beach is a major feature of the Bali Lake scenic area. With a sunny beach as its center, along Bali Lake Avenue and West Huanhu Avenue, there are five main scenic spots: the Sunshine Beach, the Stone Shore, Sunset by Lake, etc. And with tropical plants as the roadside trees, the landscape environment around the Bali Lake has been promoted further.

The Yangtze River: As the world’s third longest river and China's biggest river, the Yangtze River runs thousands of miles from the Tanggula Mountains, passes through the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, flows to the Sichuan Basin, then goes through the Three Gorges Dam, and meets with the Dongting Lake and the Han river, and finally coming to Jiujiang—the head of the Wu Kingdom and tail of Chu Kingdom. Here, the river changes her former manic behavior, becoming gentle and generous, peaceful and kind. The Yangtze River flows southeast to Jiujiang from Wuhan City, Hubei Province, and just turns to the northeast in Jiujiang City, so the flow direction seems like a tick made by a teacher on the map. Therefore, Jiujiang is known as the turning place. When flowing to Jiujiang, the Yangtze River becomes wide and boundless, and it was called Xunyang River in ancient times. There is an exquisite scenery, rich products and outstanding human culture on the bank of the Xunyang River.

The Poyang Lake: the Poyang Lake is the largest freshwater lake in China, which is located in the northern part of Jiangxi Province. It lies on the south bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, and located between Jiujiang and Nanchang. The Poyang lake connects the Yangtze River and Mount Lushan with its  boundless stretch of clear water,  which seems like the sky and water merge at the horizon. Due to the geographical and climatic conditions of Poyang Lake, it’s the home for wintering birds. In late autumn and early winter months( usually in October) every year, tens of thousands of migrant birds come from Siberia Russia, Mongolia, Japan, North Korea, China's Northeast and Northwest, and spend the winter along with local wild ducks, herons and mandarin ducks. These migrant birds will leave the following spring(about April). At present, there are over 300 kinds more than millions of birds in this reserve, with 50-plus kinds of rare birds. It has already become the world's largest bird sanctuary.
